Accessories

Tensioned fabric buildings from Shelter Structures are available with a full array of accessories, customized to your specifications.

Doors –

  • Personnel – Steel Commercial Grade complete with panic bar, closer and commercial lockset, out-swing, pre-hung 36 x 80, complete with a steel support frame.

  • Metal Roll-up – Steel Roll Up Doors are commercial grade, direct drive, mechanically operated, coil or slat style.  Motor door operators are heavy duty single or three phase power.

  • Track Curtain Doors – Fabric Door Panels travel on rollers in track mounted above door headers. Doors must be secured in open or closed positions at all times.  There is no warranty on any fabric doors.

  • Para-Port Bottom Roll Commercial Fabric Doors –Single panel doors in widths to 145 feet, heights to 50 feet. Wind Rated doors with electric motor operators.

  • Bottom Rolling Doors – Typically used for large aircraft hangars and available in sizes to accommodate the largest aircraft self-supporting frame. Wind Rated with electric motor operators.

  • MegaDoor Bottom Roll Commercial Fabric Doors- Multi-panel doors in sizes to accommodate the largest aircraft. Wind rated doors with electric motor operators.

Track Mobility – Each truss leg is outfitted with a Hilman roller to support travel along a flush mounted track system. Travel is accomplished using synchronized electric traction drives with built in brakes. The flush mounted track system allows access on all sides for both personnel and equipment.

Ventilation – Ventilation packages consist of exhaust fans, complete with shutter exhaust louvers and intake louvers supported with steel frames. Fan and louver size is determined by the number of air changes per hour required for your application

Lighting – Lighting systems are designed to provide the level of illumination required for your application. Most commercial types of lighting are available including metal halide, LED and high efficiency fluorescent. Our design team will custom craft a system to efficiently meet your requirements.

Lightning Protection – Preventor Early Streamer Emission Air Terminals and Farady type systems may be included with your tensioned fabric shelter. The Preventor system has demonstrated its effectiveness through wide use in areas with high concentrations of lightning strikes. The Preventor system is more economical than a Farady system and avoids the maintenance issues created by the extensive cabling required by a Farady system. Either system can be added to your shelter during the design phase.
