Aircraft Hangars for the Naval Air Station in Meridian, MS

Naval Air Station Meridian had fifty-four T-45 aircrafts that they wanted to cover on a tarmac with limited space. They asked for bids on 54 aircraft hangars along with the relocation of 10 hangars on that site since 2006 to make room for them.  Shelter Structures presented a solution that maximized their tarmac space and was surprisingly cost effective.  Instead of 54 aircraft hangars requiring ten feet of space between them, Shelter Structures designed 18 triple wide canopies allowing three aircraft per structure that reduced their anticipated footprint for the project and saved them money.
