Application: Two Warehouses

The Need

The Defense Logistics Agency needed durable, inexpensive, modular fabric warehouses that could be erected quickly on existing hard surface areas and provide a 20 year operational use period.

The Intention

The two fabric warehouses, 70’ wide by 225’ long and 70’ wide by 125’ long, are equipped with 12’ by 12’ overhead doors, two (2) personnel doors, ventilation systems, and T-5 Lighting packages. The warehouses are constructed with G15 hot dipped galvanized steel frames designed to accommodate insulation and sprinkler systems and resist wind speeds exceeding 115mph. The exterior fabric membrane is a 28 oz. /sq. yd. Shelter-Rite PVC coated fabric. Shelter-Rite fabric, manufactured in the USA, provides warranted durability, UV protection, and cost-effectiveness.
